Sibiu : European cultural capital 2007
Sibiu, a Romanian town situated in the historical province of Transylvania, will be the European cultural capital for the entire year. It is an important symbol because, for the first time after the fall of the Berlin Wall, a country from Eastern Europe is given such a title.
